Consecration
From Discover to Reflect
Every Saints Global badge follows the same arc — learn it, plan it, do it, then reflect on what changed.
- Step 1 · DISCOVER
Discover
Learn what this badge is really about.
Read Doctrine and Covenants 42:30–42 and explain how consecration differs from occasional service.
Identify differences between sacrifice, service, and consecration with examples.
Study one scriptural example where someone gave more than was required.
- Step 2 · PLAN
Plan
Get ready — gather what you need.
Identify one personal comfort, preference, or resource you rely on heavily.
Identify one real need in your family, Church, or community.
Decide how giving up that comfort can directly meet that need.
- Step 3 · ACT
Act
Do the work, in the real world.
Give up your identified comfort or preference to meet the real need you identified.
Support a Church, family, or community effort without being asked.
Do something helpful that requires effort when it would be easier not to.
Explain to a leader or parent what consecration cost you personally.
- Step 4 · REFLECT
Reflect
Look back and see what changed.
Explain what you learned about yourself when you gave up control or comfort.
Bear testimony of giving your will to God.
Take it with you
Download the official sheets — bring them to council meetings, advisor check-ins, and badge submissions.
